Dan is the sole principal of J D E Engineering. He oversees all of the civil engineering work we perform. Additionally, Dan oversees the SWPPP preparation and inspection, construction management, and construction inspection services. Having spent the first 10 years of his career in the construction industry as a superintendent for a major contractor in the central valley, Dan has previously directed the construction of everything we currently design. His knowledge of the construction process has proved to be invaluable to our engineers and designers as well as our clients. He places great emphasis on preparing improvement plans that are “build-able” and complete. Dan spends some of his off work time as a volunteer high school football coach. He is well respected for his “team building” approach when working with employees, clients and regulatory agencies. He knows how to build relationships that translate to a good work product and how to get the most out of those that he manages.
